The game is very closely aligned to the events in the book, and features a range of mini-games, challenges and quests to help the protagonists achieve their goals. Footsteps and other sounds causes a lot of audio cracklings. There is some glitch that stutters the sound from time to time with whatever sound system you choose, also minor slowdowns. Some slowdown here or there that stabilizes out the more you play, and texturing issues with letters in the menus, but otherwise gameplay is perfect. Constant crackling with most sound effects using both HLE and LLE, including the walking sound effect, but nothing as bad as the first game's sound problems.
